Welcome from our President:

Hello Family Members,

I have attached the itinerary for our upcoming reunion weekend. Please read it carefully! If you have any questions please contact Anthony Curtis at 703-627-7627.

The committee has done a fantastic job with planning an exciting fun-filled weekend for us in Washington, DC. During the weekend, please take a moment to thank the committee members for putting this together. It is a great deal of work but it's done with love!

Finally, if you have old family photos that you would like to share, bring them to give to the committee and write on the reverse of photo, name of person in photo, family relationship and approximate date. Old legal documents or letters that address family relationships are wanted as well. Make a copy so you can leave it with the committee.

Below and attached you will alsofind information from prior emails with everything you may need in preparation for and throughout the reunion weekend. (Parking details, Eventbrite link, Original Reunion Memo)

Notes abut Attire, Weather, and Parking:

Family,

As you finish up your packing for the reunion, I wanted to send an email with important information to help you prepare for the weekend. This week is going to be very hot and humid in DC. Dress comfortably, including your walking shoes. There may be an occasional summer storm, so a small umbrella would come in handy. The Thursday night meet and greet is at the Hard Rock Café located at 999 E Street, NW (3 blocks from the hotel). The good times will kick-off at 6:00 pm. We have the room until 9:00 pm and then it's a night on the town or back to the hotel for some much needed rest. We will be handing out the welcome bags, museum tickets and trolley tickets at the meet and greet. If you are not able to attend, I will be in the hotel lobby on Friday morning from 9:00 am - 10:00 am to pass out the remaining bags.

The dress for most of the weekend is very casual. The one exception is the family banquet on Saturday night at Ruth's Chris Steak House. As with most steak houses, you will want to raise your game a notch or two when it comes to attire. Some of the younger family members have mentioned going to a club and they should keep in mind that DC clubs follow a dress code, especially for men (no shorts, jeans, t-shirts or athletic wear).

I hope this is helpful, but you are free to contact me should you have any additional questions.

Regards,

Anthony Curtis
